Casandra Jacobs
Casandra is a South African-born artist, photographer, and gallery professional. She holds a BAFA from the University of Cape Town’s Michaelis School of Fine Arts and is currently pursuing her Master of Visual Arts at UNISA, with research focused on photography and curatorial practice.
Based in Mpumalanga, Casandra is the Gallery Manager at White River Gallery. Alongside her gallery work, she maintains an active creative practice as a freelance photographer, a printmaker with The Printing Girls collective, and the founder of Lowveld Figure Drawing, a community initiative supporting artists and students.
Never without a project in mind—or a camera in hand—Casandra approaches every opportunity with curiosity, critical insight, and a passion for storytelling through visual culture.
